Overview
There are three ways to get event records out of mymeddiCAL:- Single event PDF — a one-page report for one specific event
- Events PDF (date range) — a bulk report covering every ad-hoc event across your organisation for a chosen date range
- Export to spreadsheet — a downloadable Excel file of events matching your current filters, for further analysis
Single event PDF
Use this when you need a record of one specific event — for example, to share with a parent, keep for your own files, or attach to an incident report.- In the left sidebar, click Events.
- Click on the event you want a report for to open its details.
- Click the PDF button (with the download icon) next to the event name.
- The PDF downloads automatically, including the event type, date/time, location, attending staff, witness, any notes or instructions taken, and — for medicated care events — the medication administered.
On the mobile app, parents and guardians can also download this single-event PDF for any event recorded against their own child, directly from the event’s details screen.
Events PDF (date range)
Use this when you need a consolidated report of every ad-hoc event that occurred over a period — for example, a daily incident log or a week-in-review for your organisation. On the web app:- In the left sidebar, click Events.
- Click Events PDF at the top of the events list.
- Choose a start and end date (up to 31 days).
- Click Download PDF.
- Tap Events in the bottom navigation.
- Tap Events PDF at the top of the list.
- Choose a date (or date range) and download.
This report covers every student in your organisation, so it’s only available to staff — it isn’t shown to parents or guardians.
Export to spreadsheet
Use this when you want to filter, sort, or analyse event data outside of mymeddiCAL.- In the left sidebar, click Events.
- Apply any filters you’d like (date range, event type, status, class, etc.).
- Click Export at the top of the list.
- An Excel spreadsheet downloads containing the filtered events.
