Overview

Notifications remind staff about scheduled medication events (before due, when due, overdue). They do not tell you what dose to give. Everything is on Settings in the left sidebar — not a separate “My notification settings” menu.

Personal card — Notification Settings

Every staff member sees Notification Settings.
  1. Open Settings.
  2. On Notification Settings, use the Browser and Email switches in the table header.
  3. The rows underneath are always the same timings (they follow the header switches; you do not toggle each row separately):
    • 30 minutes before
    • 15 minutes before
    • 5 minutes before
    • When event is due
    • When event is overdue
Browser: the first time you turn it on, the browser will ask permission. If you previously blocked notifications, enable them in the browser settings. Email: on a free plan the Email switch is locked. Upgrade from Subscription and billing. There are no quiet hours on this screen.

Super Admin — Organization Notification Defaults

Only Super Admin sees a second card: Organization Notification Defaults. These defaults apply to new staff. People who have already changed their own Notification Settings are not overwritten. The same Browser / Email table and timing rows appear. On free plans the whole card is locked (organisation-wide defaults need a plan with multiple staff). Extra Super Admin switch:
  • Guardian Notifications → Email primary guardian upon event completion — when on, the primary guardian is emailed after a medication event is marked completed. Paid feature; locked on free.
