Overview
When you create a health plan for your child or athlete through a school, daycare, or sports club that uses mymeddiCAL, the plan doesn’t become active straight away. It is sent to the organisation for review. A staff member or admin must approve it before any medication schedules or care events are generated. This applies to all organisation types — schools, daycares, and sports clubs follow the same process.Submitting a plan (Mobile App)
- Open the mymeddiCAL app and sign in.
- If you belong to more than one organisation, make sure you’re in the correct one — the organisation name appears at the top of the home screen. Tap Home → Dashboard to switch if needed.
- Tap Plans in the bottom navigation, then tap Create Plan.
- Complete each step:
- Details — plan name, category (Regular Care or Occasional Care), start and end dates.
- Medicine — medication name, dosage, and administration details.
- Schedule — when the medication is to be given.
- Watch & Act — symptoms to watch for and what action to take.
- Tap Submit on the final step.
What “Pending Approval” means
- The plan is visible to the organisation’s staff and admins.
- No events, reminders, or medication schedules are generated yet.
- You will be notified when the plan is approved or rejected.
What happens next
| Outcome | What you’ll see |
|---|---|
| Approved | Plan status changes to Active. Events and schedules are created automatically. You receive an in-app notification. |
| Rejected | Plan stays inactive. You receive a notification with the reason. You can edit the plan and resubmit. |
Resubmitting after rejection
If your plan is rejected:- Tap on the plan in the Plans list.
- Review the rejection reason left by the admin.
- Tap Edit and make the necessary changes.
- Tap Submit — the plan re-enters the approval queue.
If your plan has been sitting as Pending Approval for longer than expected, contact the organisation directly. The admin may need to review it manually.
