Overview
A health plan in mymeddiCAL is a copy of what the family and clinicians already agreed. It is a reminder of medicines, doses, and watch-and-act items — not a clinical decision, and not a “safe to attend” score. Staff-created plans are usually active immediately. Plans a guardian submits go to Approvals until a staff member approves or rejects them. See Approving a health plan.Steps (Web)
Open the wizard from Health Plans → + New health plan, or from a student’s profile.1
Student
Search and select which student (or athlete / patient) this plan is for. If you opened the wizard from that student’s page, they are already selected.

Review & Create
Check the summary. Click create. For a staff-created plan, it typically becomes active straight away and shows on the student and on Events.
After create
- The plan appears on the student’s profile and can generate scheduled events.
- When you approve or reject a guardian-submitted plan, the primary guardian gets an email and an in-app message. A rejection reason is stored on the plan.
- Guardians can be asked to update a plan from Guardians → Prompt Update, or from a camp — see Inviting a guardian and Managing a camp.
