# Recording a watch & act event

> Log a health incident that doesn't require medication but needs to be recorded.

## Overview

Use a watch & act event when a student has a health incident that doesn't require medication but needs to be logged — a fall, allergic reaction, or behavioural episode.

## Steps (Web)

1. Navigate to **Students** → click the student.
2. Click **+ New event** → **Watch & Act**.
3. Describe the incident, select severity, and add any notes.
4. Click **Save**.

## Steps (Mobile)

1. Tap **Events** → **+ New event** → **Watch & Act**.
2. Select the student, fill in details, tap **Save**.
