# May 2026 — Co-Guardian Requests & Event PDF Reports

> Guardians can now request a co-guardian themselves, and staff can generate formal PDF records for care events.

## What's new

### Co-guardian requests

Parents and guardians can now request to add a second guardian to their child's profile — directly from the app, without requiring staff involvement.

    Tap **"Request Co-Guardian"** on your child's profile page.

  <Step title="Enter their details">
    Enter the co-guardian's name, email address, and phone number.
  </Step>

  <Step title="School reviews the request">
    The school receives the request and approves or declines it from the web dashboard.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Co-guardian is invited">
    Once approved, the co-guardian receives an invitation to create their own account and access their child's health information.

### Ad-hoc event PDF reports

Staff can now generate formal PDF records for any ad-hoc care event — suitable for compliance documentation, insurance claims, and guardian communication.

    Open any event from the Events list and tap **PDF**. A report is generated instantly and saved to your device.

    Tap **Events PDF**, select a date range (up to 31 days), and generate a single PDF covering all events in that period — useful for monthly compliance reviews or end-of-term records.

Each report includes the student's details, event description, actions taken, medications administered, attending staff, and outcome — plus a confidentiality footer and timestamp.

### Sports club terminology

Event PDF reports now correctly use **"Team"** instead of "Class" and **"Athlete"** instead of "Student" for sports club organisations.

## Bug fixes & improvements

* Fixed an issue where the PDF date picker on web showed an incorrect default date
* Improved date range picker on Android — PDFs now save directly to the Downloads folder
* Added the required healthcare disclaimer to all web login pages, matching the mobile app
* General stability improvements
