# Subscription and billing

> See your plan (free, trial, or paid), student limits, and how to upgrade. Super Admin only.

## Overview

Your organisation is on one of **free**, **trial**, or **paid**. Limits (students, staff, camps) and locked features (including [Dashboard reports](/staff/dashboard-reports)) depend on that tier.

Only a **Super Admin** can open billing.

## Open Subscription & Billing

1. Sign in as Super Admin.
2. In the left sidebar, click **Settings**.
3. Click the **Subscription & Billing** card at the top (shield icon).
4. You will see your current tier, student count vs limit, and (if paid) Stripe / invoice history.

If that card is missing, you are not Super Admin.

## What you will see

* **Tier** — free, trial, or paid
* **Student count / student limit** — how many student (or athlete / patient) records you can hold
* **Staff and camp limits** — shown on the same card when they apply
* **Trial end date** — if you are on a trial
* **Upgrade** — starts checkout for a paid plan (student slider on the public pricing page is the same product)

## Locked features

On **free**, Dashboard report cards show a lock and **Paid plan required**. Staff management may show an upgrade prompt. Trial and paid can download reports.

Upgrading does not change how [staff sign in](/admin/sso-settings) or how [guardians](/staff/inviting-a-guardian) sign in.
